About Us

The Govt. of A.P. is implementing water sector reforms initiated by World Bank. As a part of it promoted farmers participation in water sector and enacted APFMIS act 1997 (Act 11 of 1997) for which CADA is nodal agency for implementation.

At present the WUAs status in Andhra Pradesh is as follows:

Water Tax Demand & Collection:

The Water tax demand, collections and Balance figures have been collecting from the Special Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration,(CCLA) every month and the details for the last 3 years are as follows:


Government has issued orders in G.O.Ms.No.693 Revenue (DA & LR) Department, Dt: 31-7-2015 for formation of Joint Committees at District, Revenue Division, Mandal and Village level for monitoring of crop and to ensure 100% of Water Tax collection. Instructions were issued to the District Collectors and Superintending Engineers to form the Joint Committees and to ensure 100% Tax collections.
